General integration

The user was able to rent the robot using the app, but the robot could not still follow an ARTag while deviating from obstacles.

This week!

Robot

The robot can follow an ARTag throughout the market avoiding obstacles. The software is still not perfect, but it works. To the extent of our tests, the robot can follow the user inside a hallway, but with some restrictions. Very steep curves are a problem. The robot is currently unable to accompany the user in very steep curves and abrupt changes in his or her position. Lighting conditions are also a problem when there are just a few light sources. However, in a well-lit environment, such as the majority of supermarkets, this should not be a great issue.
